A very successful campaign on Pinterest

Kotex find out the most 50 noble and influential women on Pinterest, then did a research on everyone’s Pin and like. In terms of everyone’s interests and favorites, Kotex collects their favorite things together and makes a real product as a gift delivering for every lady. Immediately after getting their rewards, all these women posted about their gifts on their social pages (Facebook, Twitter), blogs, and of course their Pinterest page. All women have become opinion leaders to make a good comment for Kotex on their own initiatives. This is a very good influencer engagement case and it’s worth studying. With Pinterest being all the rage from last year, I think that brands should start using Pinterest in their campaigns in a similar and effective way, engaging the consumer and encouraging to spread the word and create a big buzz.
