The Growth of Social Ad Spending

This infographic shows how social advertising media spending will evolve over the next five years. How might this type of advertising be beneficial versus typical forms?

Social media ads have 55 percent higher recall than non-social ads and they’re cheaper.

An example they give is an advertisement during the Super Bowl, which typically costs $4 million. With this money, a company could buy a promoted trend on Twitter for nearly three weeks.

All of us will be working with social media during our careers in the future and this ad shows us how companies can benefit from using these social ads.
