Facebook timeline records our history

Posted by yuchrisahu on June 22, 2013

If you are bored of checking history books or Wikipedia to learn about history, maybe you can take a shot at Facebook, to learn history through the timeline.

In 2012, a lot of federal agencies started to fill their timeline history all back to the time they founded. The White House is the first to complete its timeline, which dated back to George Washington’s inauguration. Besides, the Facebook is still recording what happens now such as the process of Immigration Reform and the meeting with President Xi of People’s Republic of China.

I think that Facebook Timeline is an interesting way to create a “documentary” which is easily accessible to all of us. For people who would like to know more about these agencies, it provides a clear outline, sources and also the key words for people to search more information. So, isn’t this an amazing history documentary?
