Everyone loves a bit of retail therapy but now you can do it and stay connected to a community of shoppers just like you. The new app Poshmark available now for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, is the one stop shopping shopping destination for women, offering a one-of-a-kind unique experience in connecting people and their closets. Poshmark is a fun and simple way to buy and sell fashion – straight from your apple device. You can connect with others whose fashion you adore so you can shop their closets. Sell items from your closet so other Poshmarkers can shop your unique style.

How does it work? Create an account. Connect to your Facebook and Twitter friends who are already on Poshmark. The more people you follow, the more closets you can shop. Create a listing to sell your items. It’s easy, free, and you can edit it at anytime. When you make a sale on Poshmark, we provide you with a pre-paid, pre-addressed label, all ready to be put on the box. Once the item has been packaged, you can drop it off at one of those blue USPS mailboxes

What is the Community Aspect?  You have the ability to attend a Posh Parties, which are in-app shopping and selling parties with themes, such as “Animal Prints,” “Designer Handbags,” and “Vintage Wear.” Posh Parties are a great opportunity to shop a selection of curated closets, and also the perfect time for you to promote your own listings to people within the community. You can add items from your closet to any Party by using the Share button next to your items. When the party is on, it will give you an option to share to that party.

Poshmark in my opinion is a cooler way to shop and sell items than your typical ebay or amazon marketplace. Poshmark also incorporates aspect of Instagram such as adding filters to your pictures giving your item that you are selling a cooler more exclusive look.
