Theater Repeatedly Shows Wrong Movie

Guardians of the Galaxy Still 1 - H 2014

The newest Marvel comic “Guardians of the Galaxy” was released midnight Thursday. It’s predicted to take in $90 million at the box office this weekend! But, the movie release wasn’t without a little hiccup.

People were expecting to see the “Guardians of the Galaxy” but the theater played “Rise of the Guardians.” The upset moviegoer’s complained about the problem via Twitter. The theater was not monitoring Twitter and the story became viral. Moviegoer’s were talking about the lack of responsibility the theater took and how long the wait was for the correct movie. Twitter has become a place for customers to complain. I’ve complained about issues before and have been helped by random people. I think, failing to acknowledge  a problem creates poor customer service and impact sales. Ultimately, it was a less learned for the theater.

This was kind of surprising and funny to read. I’m curious what theater made this mistake and if they responded/apologized.
